Coding Assistant
Coding Assistant is a desktop robot that pairs the OpenClaw platform with physical presence. Built on Raspberry Pi 5 with an AI HAT+ accelerator, dual OpenClaw robotic arms, a 4-mic array, Camera Module 3, and an HD eye display, it acts as a tangible pair-programmer — you talk, it listens, explains, and gestures. Wake-word activation, on-device or cloud LLM, ROS 2 motion control, and an LED emotion ring let it react to your code in real time.
Coding Assistant in Action
Six expressive states — eyes, gesture, and LED ring sync with what your code is doing.
Thinking
Pulsing eyes while it reasons through your prompt.
Writing Code
Focused gaze, claws steady — generation in flight.
Explaining
Open expression, gesturing claw — narrating a concept.
Debugging
Narrow eyes, scanning posture — tracing the bug.
Celebrating
Wide eyes, claws up — green LED ring on success.
Idle
Breathing animation, dim ring — waiting for wake-word.
